Getting from Rhodes to Tilos
If you are heading to Tilos from Rhodes you are making a short trip to a neighbouring island to the northwest.
Take the ferry
There is a direct ferry from Rhodes to Tilos running several times a week year-round, taking around 2 to 3 hours. The Dodekanisos Express also serves the route seasonally and takes considerably less time. Both connect the two islands without going through Athens.
Getting there by air
Tilos has no airport. The ferry from Rhodes is the only realistic option and at under 3 hours it is a manageable trip.
Your best option
Take the ferry from Rhodes. It is direct and avoids going through Athens entirely. Check the schedule before planning around it as the frequency is limited outside of peak summer.
