Getting from Rhodes to Antiparos

If you are heading to Antiparos from Rhodes you are making your way to a small island in the Cyclades, to the northwest. It sits just off the western coast of Paros with a Venetian kastro village and good beaches.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Rhodes to Antiparos. Getting there means taking the overnight ferry from Rhodes to Piraeus and then connecting onto the Paros service, followed by the short 10 minute crossing from Pounta on the western coast of Paros to Antiparos.

Getting there by air

Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, which has connections from Athens. Flying from Rhodes to Athens takes around 1 hour and then Athens to Paros takes around 45 minutes, followed by a taxi to Pounta and the short ferry to Antiparos. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Fly to Paros via Athens and cross to Antiparos from Pounta. It is the most practical approach. If you are travelling with a car, the overnight ferry from Rhodes to Piraeus is the practical choice, then take the ferry from Piraeus to Paros and cross to Antiparos from Pounta.
