Getting from Rhodes to Paros
If you are heading to Paros from Rhodes you are making your way to the hub of the Cyclades, to the northwest. It has one of the most beautiful small harbour villages in Greece at Naoussa, long sandy beaches on the west coast and a position at the centre of the island ferry network.
Take the ferry
There is a direct seasonal ferry from Rhodes to Paros running in summer, taking around 8 to 10 hours. The route is not year-round so check the schedule before planning around it. Outside of the summer season the connection goes via Piraeus.
Getting there by air
Both Rhodes and Paros have airports. Flying from Rhodes to Athens takes around 1 hour and then Athens to Paros takes around 45 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.
Your best option
Fly to Paros via Athens. At around 3 to 4 hours total it is considerably faster than the seasonal ferry. If the direct summer ferry works for your schedule and you want the sea journey it is a good option. If you are travelling with a car, the overnight ferry from Rhodes to Piraeus is the practical choice, then take the ferry from Piraeus to Paros.
