Getting from Rhodes to Kasos
If you are heading to Kasos from Rhodes you are making your way to a neighbouring island to the southwest. It is a small rocky island with a maritime history that produced some of Greece's most celebrated sea captains.
Take the ferry
There is a direct ferry from Rhodes to Kasos running several times a week year-round, taking around 3 to 4 hours. It is one of the most practical connections in the southern Dodecanese and avoids going through Athens entirely. Check the schedule before planning around it as the frequency is limited.
Getting there by air
Kasos has its own small airport with connections from Athens via Rhodes. Flying from Rhodes to Kasos takes around 30 minutes and runs a limited number of times per week. It is the fastest option if the schedule aligns with your dates.
Your best option
Take the direct ferry from Rhodes when the schedule works. If the ferry timing does not align, the short flight from Rhodes is a straightforward alternative.
