About the Beach

Adelianos Kampos Beach is a massive and very long stretch of sand and pebbles located just east of the city of Rethymno that is lined with many big hotels and fun places to hang out. Because it is so long and open to the north, the wind often blows here and creates big waves that are fun to jump in, but you have to be careful of the flat rocks that sit under the water in some spots. It is a very lively place where you can find everything from jet skis to volleyball nets, and it is also another important spot where sea turtles like to hide their eggs in the sand during the summer months.
