About the Beach
Ligres Beach is a huge and very quiet beach on the south coast that feels like it belongs in a movie because it is so wide and empty with big waves and deep blue water that goes on forever. The sand is coarse and dark and there are some neat rock formations scattered around the shore that look like giant sculptures made by the sea over a very long time. There are only a couple of small places to eat nearby and no big rows of umbrellas, so it is the perfect spot if you want to feel like a real explorer discovering a wild part of the island where the ocean feels big and powerful and you have the whole place to yourself.
