About the Beach

Agios Pavlos Beach is a spectacular and wild place that is famous for its massive sand dunes that look like mountains of gold sitting right above the deep blue ocean and stretching high up into the hills. You can climb all the way to the top of the dunes and then slide or run all the way down into the soft sand near the water, which is one of the most fun and exciting things to do on the whole island. The water here is very deep and clear and there are no big hotels or noisy crowds, just a few small houses and some of the most amazing views of the sunset you will ever see in your life as the sun disappears behind the rocks.
