Damnoni Beach Crete Rethymno Area

Damnoni Beach is a big and very popular sandy beach located in a wide valley on the south coast that is known for having some of the best water sports centers in the region. The sand is clean and white and the water is a brilliant turquoise color that stays very calm most of the time because the beach is tucked between two big rocky headlands. It is a very social and fun place where you can rent a boat to explore nearby secret coves or learn how to windsurf, and there is a long row of tavernas and cafes where you can sit under the trees and enjoy the view.
