About the Beach
Triopetra Beach is a spectacular and very wide beach on the south coast that gets its name from three massive rocks that stick out of the water at one end like giant stone fingers. The beach is split into two parts by a small peninsula and the sand is made of tiny pebbles that feel very nice on your feet and keep the water looking perfectly clear. It is a very powerful and natural place where the wind can get quite strong, but the huge rocks create some cool shadows and it is one of the best places on the island to sit and watch a big sunset over the open ocean.
