About the Beach
Bisti is a beautiful and very quiet beach located in a sheltered bay on the southern side of the island, accessible almost exclusively by boat. It is a pebble beach that is famous for being surrounded by a thick grove of pine trees, which provide a lot of natural shade and give the air a very fresh, herbal scent. The water here is a bright emerald green and is usually very calm, making it a great choice for snorkeling along the rocky edges. There is a small organized section with sunbeds and a canteen that serves basic drinks and snacks during the summer months. Because it is tucked away in its own little corner, it feels much more remote and peaceful than the beaches closer to the harbor. It’s an ideal spot for anyone who wants to spend a whole day in a natural, tree-lined environment far away from the town’s bustle.
