About the Beach

Hydronetta is not a beach in the traditional sense, but a series of stone platforms and terraces carved into the cliffs just outside the main harbor. It is a famous spot for jumping straight into deep, electric blue water from the rocks. There is a popular bar built into the levels of the cliff, making it a very social place to grab a drink and watch the sunset. Because it faces the open water, the sea here feels fresh and powerful. There are ladders to help you get back up onto the platforms, but there is no shallow area to wade in. It’s an iconic Hydra location that is all about the views, the deep water, and the lively evening energy.
