About the Beach
Lichadonisia feels like you’ve accidentally stumbled into a tropical lagoon. These tiny volcanic islets off the northern tip of Evia are often called the Greek Seychelles, and the name actually fits. The sand is incredibly fine and white, and the water is a glowing, shallow turquoise that stays warm late into the season. You have to hop on a small boat to get there, which makes the whole day feel like a mini-expedition. Once you land, it’s all about the crystal-clear water and the relaxed, unpretentious beach bar. It’s a great spot for snorkeling, as you can see straight to the bottom even in deeper areas. There’s something special about being on an uninhabited island chain where the only thing on the agenda is floating in the sun and maybe spotting a local seal if you’re lucky.
