About the Beach

Livadi Beach is the first and largest of the beaches you see when you arrive in the village of Bali, and it is a wide stretch of soft sand that is perfect for a long day of fun. The water is very clear and stays shallow for a little bit, so it is a great place for playing games in the ocean or learning how to use a snorkel to see the little fish swimming near the bottom. There are dozens of umbrellas and comfortable places to sit, and the whole beach is lined with cool cafes where you can get a snack or a cold drink without having to walk very far. It has a very lively and happy atmosphere because there are always lots of families and travelers hanging out together, and the view of the big green cliffs on either side of the bay makes it feel like you are swimming in a giant natural bowl filled with blue water.
