About the Beach
Spilies Beach is a unique and rugged spot located at the bottom of a steep cliff that gets its name from the amazing sea caves that the ocean has carved into the rocks over thousands of years of waves hitting the stone. The beach is made of large pebbles and the water is very deep and blue, making it a great place to explore the rocky edges with a mask and snorkel to see the fish hiding in the dark corners of the caves and underwater tunnels. It feels very hidden and wild because you have to drive down a small road to find it, but there is a cool beach bar there where you can sit and watch the waves crash against the stone walls while you enjoy the fresh sea air.
