About the Beach

Varkotopos Beach is a lovely and shallow sandy beach located in one of the coves of Bali that is a favorite for families because the water stays quiet and easy to swim in almost all the time without any big waves. It is tucked into a round bay with green hills on both sides, which means the big waves stay out in the deep sea while the shore stays calm like a big natural swimming pool where you can play for hours. There are lots of cafes and places to rent a paddleboat right on the sand, making it a very easy and fun place to spend a whole day playing in the sun and eating snacks with your family.
