Getting from Paros to Kasos

If you are heading to Kasos from Paros you are making your way to the southernmost island in the Dodecanese, a small rocky island of around 1,000 permanent residents with a maritime history that produced some of Greece's most celebrated sea captains.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Paros to Kasos. An indirect connection exists via Piraeus and the long Dodecanese route but the total journey by sea takes the better part of two days and is not a realistic option. Flying is the only practical choice.

Getting there by air

Kasos has its own small airport with connections from Athens via Rhodes. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Rhodes takes around 1 hour and Rhodes to Kasos takes around 30 minutes. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours.

Your best option

Fly via Athens and Rhodes. It is the only realistic approach. Check the Rhodes to Kasos schedule carefully as the service runs a limited number of times per week.
