Getting from Rhodes to Kos
If you are heading to Kos from Rhodes you are making your way to the neighbouring island to the northwest.
Take the ferry
There is a direct ferry from Rhodes to Kos running daily year-round, taking around 2 to 3 hours. Faster vessel options are also available seasonally, taking considerably less time. It is one of the most frequently served routes in the Dodecanese.
Getting there by air
Both Rhodes and Kos have airports. There are no direct flights between the two islands. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights. The ferry is the obvious and more practical choice on this route.
Your best option
Take the ferry. It is direct, frequent and one of the easiest connections in the Dodecanese. Check the schedule and pick the departure that works for you.
