Getting from Rhodes to Corfu

If you are heading to Corfu from Rhodes you are making your way to the northwestern part of Greece, an island in the Ionian Sea with a UNESCO World Heritage Site town and a lush green coastline.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Rhodes to Corfu. Getting there means taking the overnight ferry from Rhodes to Piraeus and then travelling by road northwest to Igoumenitsa for the ferry to Corfu, making the total journey the better part of two days.

Getting there by air

Both Rhodes and Corfu have airports. Flying from Rhodes to Athens takes around 1 hour and then Athens to Corfu takes around 50 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Fly via Athens. It is the only realistic approach and at around 3 to 4 hours total it is straightforward. If you are travelling with a car, the overnight ferry from Rhodes to Piraeus is the practical choice, then drive northwest to Igoumenitsa and take the ferry across to Corfu.
